Mattress. Based on the beloved fairytale The Princess and the Pea, Once Upon a
Mattress centers around Prince Dauntless the Drab and his quest for a royal bride.

March Mingle Longmeadow’s special education parent advisory group (P.L.A.C.E.) hosts 2nd Annual March Mingle on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 6:30 PM at the Elks in Springfield. For $25 per ticket, attendees can sample food from 17 area restaurants and caterers and wine and beers from local distributors, as well as V1 Vodka martini bar (a cash bar is available as well). In addition to the tasting, an expanded gallery of silent auction and raffle items, and dancing makes this a great evening for an even greater cause. A few highlighted items up for bid include an authentic Tom Brady autographed football; a private wine dinner for four at Spoleto East Longmeadow; a cooking class with Holistic Health Counselor Renee Hastings for 7 people on any topic from health food/whole food, to gluten free or dairy free meals; as well as golf, sports tickets, children’s birthday parties and a Boston overnight.

on March 25 at 7 p.m. in Blake Dining Hall. This spectacular event includes a dinner with performances celebrating cultures from around the world and represented on campus. Concert will feature music for piano, 2 violins, cello, clarinet, percussion, and narrator. The music will include a trio sonata by Haydn, a piano trio by Turina, and "L'Histoire du soldat" (the history of a soldier) by Stravinsky. The devil comes to Longmeadow! You'll have to come and see if he wins. The performers will beAlissa Leiser, piano, Joel Pitchon and Marsha Harbison, violins, Volcy Pelletier, cello, David Schneider, clarinet, Ayano Kataoka, percussion, and narrator, John Lemly, professor of English at Mt. Holyoke College.
